To walk in nature is to witness thousand miracles! We at The Book MY Trips offers some of the best trekking routes, to the travellers, filled with mountainescapes, waterfalls and camping activities.

Garud Chatti Trekking

Garud Chatti Waterfall in Rishikesh is one of the most beautiful spots in the town, which should not be missed at any cost. This photogenic place attracts foreigners and people from different states of India because of its seven different types of water flowing points. Where is Garud Chatti located? Garud Chatti Waterfall is situated near Neelkanth Bridge in the forest on the southern banks of the river Ganges. You'll find the trailhead to Garud Chatti falls just to the opposite side of the Garud Chatti Temple, from which the waterfall has got its name.

Getting to Garud Chatti Waterfall from Rishikesh involves an approximately 3.5 km or 45 minutes' walk from the Laxman Jhula bridge in Tapovan. It's also possible to rent a two-wheeler or motorbike in Tapovan from many shops, or you can also pay an auto driver to take you to the Garud Chatti Temple.

This waterfall does not cover a large area of land and looks small in the spread, but the way the water flows from seven different locations to the centre of the creek is mesmerising. One feels like spending a whole day enjoying the majestic fusion of nature and water. The Book MY Trips also provide you with luxury cottages and deluxe camps for our customers. Hike Distance: 1.5KM Duration: 2 hours return with time at the waterfalls Difficulty: Easy

Neer Garh Trekking

The second type of trekking that we offer is the Neer Garh Waterfall trekking-

Neer Garh Waterfall is about 5-6 km away from Tapovan and is about 4 km from Laxman Jhula. One has to take the ticket from the ticketing spot for this waterfall and trek down to different points of this waterfall. The ticket cost is relatively less than other trekking companies and ranges between Rs.20 to Rs.30. The intimate sound of gurgling water delights the senses, and the excellent breezing sound near the river is very intimating. There is a short bridge at the second bathing spot from the rocky stairs over the creek, which is old and looks delightful. Butterflies of different species and colours are seen fluttering around the wildflowers, adding beauty to this beautiful spot. At these spots, with The Book MY Trips you can easily find eatables, drinks, and water near you.

Some points to consider:

1. Sturdy and comfortable shoes would be required to hike up a little bit while approaching the waterfall.

2. You are suggested to carry extra clothes to change after having fun under the chilling water of the fall.

3. You should always drink and eat well before your trekking begins, it doesn't matter how short it is.

Phool Chatti Trekking

The third type of waterfall trekking that we provide is Phool Chatti Waterfall Trekking-

Phool Chatti Waterfall is also situated on Neelkanth road and appears as tiny as Garud Chatti Waterfall. The greenery around the Phool Chatti waterfall is due to its proximity to the forest area. Since the trekking path is quite slippery and needs extra caution while walking up to the central spot, it is essential for tourists, especially children, girls and senior citizens, to walk cautiously, placing every foot with the utmost care and alertness. But the moment one reaches the exact point, the beauty hypnotises the senses to the core. The view makes one forget about every difficult path and hurdle.
