Rafting in Rishikesh is a recreational adventure sport in which a raft is used to sail through the River Ganga. It was popularised as a leisure sport in the mid-1970s and has become a viral activity that people love to conduct during their holidays. This challenging journey is usually made on different degrees and rapids of untamed waters. A lot of challenges are involved in this activity, so it demands some specific manoeuvring techniques.
Two of the main techniques required to conduct this activity successfully are punching and high siding. Punching requires the crew to paddle the raft fast to gain enough speed to push through the water-pumping current. High siding is required if the raft goes sideways; Rafters stop the raft from flipping and move to its higher side to balance the raft. As it is a dangerous sport, proper safety precautions should be observed while moving it.

The Book MY Trips believes in style features, which is why our gear is not only new but also top of the line. Why give you a helmet, personal floatation device, wet-suit, or splash top that we wouldn't choose ourselves..? That's just silly.
The Book MY Trips believes in sun protection and having both shoes at the end of the day. For these reasons, we like long sleeves (preferably not cotton, as it retains moisture and keeps you cold) and closed-toed shoes that have the ability not to come off. Put, if you show up in flip flops, we'll tape them to your foot, and the tan lines won't be pretty. If you wish to wear sunglasses, The Book MY Trips advises using eyewear.
